Drama Club Brings Spirit of Christmas to Life

The cast of “A Christmas Carol” takes a bow.

The CHS Drama Club presented its fall offering, Charles Dickens’ one-act play “A Christmas Carol,” on the high school stage Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 2.

Aaron Aycock performed the main role of Ebeneezer Scrooge. The spirits included Austin McDanel as Jacob Marley, Joanna Switala as the ghost of Christmas past, Jace Kephart as the ghost of Christmas present, and Brittany Keith, ghost of Christmas future.

Remington Shugarts was Bob Cratchit, with Devan DeSantis as Tiny Tim. Spencer Jeffries portrayed Scrooge’s nephew, Fred.

The production staff included Mr. Switala as producing director and Mr. Duttry as Assistant Director. Kim Luzier was costume coordinator and Jeannine Hanes served as assistant costume coordinator and prop director. Sam Potter was in charge of choreography, and Mason Strouse provided lighting. Justine Washic oversaw makeup.

The lighting crew included Kendra Billotte and Madyson Gillen. Stage ninjas were Ava Lynch, Tanis Gillen, Chelsea Ippolito and Rachel Mandell.
