On April 1, Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School members of Spanish Honor Society went on a field trip. Students went to the Ritz Theater in Clearfield and watched the Spanish movie “Coco,” which tells the story of a young boy’s family traditions on Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Day of the Dead is a Hispanic tradition in which people celebrate and honor the lives of their deceased family members. The students later went to Pizza Hut to eat lunch.
