Three Bison swimmers earned champion status as they bested Class 2A competition at the recent PIAA Swimming and Daving Championships held at Bucknell University.

Junior Paige Mikesell proved she was the best Class 2A 100 flyer in the state by earning a time of 55.07 to beat runner-up Maddie McSorley of Nazereth by nearly 2 seconds.

Senior Chase Bietz out-swam the competition to take championship honors in the 100 breast stroke.

Sophomore Luke Mikesell took home the gold in the 500 Free contest.

The three swimmers were among those honored at an assembly hosted March 19 at the school.
