Clearfield SPCA to hold 5K to benefit their shelter

Our local animal shelter, the Clearfield County SPCA, will be holding a 5K on April 6, 2019, to help bring in money for their shelter. The 5K is being hosted by the CCCTC SkillsUSA Community Service Team.

The registration deadline to join this 5K is March 22, 2019. The 5K will take place on April 6, 2019, and one can choose whether they would like to run or walk. The 5K is being held at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds and begins at 11:00 AM. One can register online at or look at the Clearfield County SPCA’s Facebook page to be directly linked to it. The cost is $20 to sign up, and those who sign up will also receive a t-shirt and an animal bandana.

The Award Categories Include:

Overall 1st place- Male and Female

Overall 2nd place- Male and Female

Overall 3rd place- Male and Female

The Age Categories and Top three 5K Finishers are as follows:

Ages 5-9

Ages 10-14

Ages 15-19

Ages 20-29

Ages 30-39

Ages 40-49

Ages 50+

If you can’t make it to the 5K but still want to help the Clearfield County SPCA, they take donations of food or toys. One could also choose to volunteer there as well.
