The Clearfield Area School District was proud to sponsor a spelling bee for students in grades 4-8 on Tuesday, Feb. 13. After two hours and almost 240 words provided to challenge our student spellers, we are proud to present our winners.

Representing CAE in the Western Pa Spelling Bee at Robert Morris University is 5th grader Gabby Henry. Representing the Jr/Sr High School will be 8th grader Emmalynne Groth.

The Western Pa Spelling Bee will be held on Saturday, March 10th. The winner from that event moves on to Washington D.C. for the National Spelling Bee. Great job by all of our students who participated throughout the process.
