On October 30, the annual Halloween Parade was held at the Driving Park and the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School Band attended. The Halloween parade has been going on now for at least 35 years.

The Halloween parade had a theme of Nickelodeon but that did not mean the people in the band could not dress up as other things. The band played Summon the Heroes and Superman Intro. The band is not the only part of this parade; there are floats and groups of people showing off their Halloween costumes.

According to Mr. Mandel, the band director, the highlight of the parade was “seeing the number of children with their parents to participate and watch the parade.” This is also the only event the band can be out of uniform and dress up in other things.
