In this movie Sam, a teenage girl in California, ends up working at her stepmotherā€™s diner. She washes dishes and cleans up after the diner closes. Sam ends up having a cell phone mix up and begins anonymously texting and emailing a boy. They talk for awhile and become very close to the point where they want to meet up. They agree to meet at the local school dance coming up that weekend. However, Sam finds out from a friend that the boy she has been messaging for weeks is not who she expected. The boy she has been texting is one of the most attractive boys at her school; all the girls like him. When she finds this out, she panics, and wants to try to change herself before the day they meet. Will she be able to go through with the date or will she panic and stop talking to him?

Overall, I think this is a very good movie for teen girls. It shows how love between people can be very unexpected. Also, it shows not to judge a book by its cover because sometimes that person can be a great person on the inside. I would recommend this movie to many people, I think its very informative and interesting movie.
