The new hit Hollywood film “The Batman” written by director Matt Reeves was rated 85% fresh according to Rotten Tomatoes, 8.1/10 on IMDb, 10/10 on IGN. This thrilling action flick will have you at the edge of your seat every second of the film.

Reeves obtained a gross revenue of $598.09 million for the movie in just under two and a half months since its release date of March 31, 2022.

The Batman, played by Robert Pattinson, ventures into Gotham City’s underworld when a sadistic killer leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues. This killer known as the Riddler who was played by Paul Dano and would soon leave a note hinting that The Batman is his next murder victim. When Police Lieutenant James Gordon finds the note, he immediately asks the Batman to help him solve this riddle. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the Riddler’s plans become clear in that he wants to “fight the corruption in Gotham City.” This plan is soon found as corrupt in itself as at each crime scene the Riddler leaves a note with a riddle on it hinting towards who will be next to die. Batman must create new relationships, find out who the man behind the mask is, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued the metropolis. In the end, The Riddler destroys the city and Batman must regain justice back for the city.

Who would’ve thought that a man dressed in a bat suit fighting a riddle-obsessed serial killer would’ve helped to create one of the most successful movies in all of DC’s superhero history?

Overall, the movie was a cinematic masterpiece with amazing acting, well developed plot, and beautiful cinematography. I personally would rate the movie a 9 out of 10 with it being one of the better DC movies to date and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have an adventurous time.
