Tour Abroad in 2024
January 13, 2023
I see London, I see France…
And if you want to go along… now is your chance! In June of 2024, Mr. Rothrock is leading a group of students with EF Educational Tours on an opportunity of a lifetime. Who doesn’t want to travel to different countries with their best friends? During this trip, you will get to experience Scotland, England, and France. I know I’m looking forward to seeing Stonehenge, Edinburgh Castle, Shakespeare’s birthplace, Windsor Castle, and the Eiffel Tower, plus so much more. You have the opportunity to taste delicious foods such as Scottish Porridge, Fish & Chips in England, and famous French desserts like crème brulee, macarons, eclairs, and crepes. Another exciting adventure is the train ride from London to Paris on the Eurostar, which is an underwater train system that travels up to speeds of 186 mph, making the trip just over two hours. I discussed details with Mr. Rothrock, the group leader of the trip, and he claimed that despite having an eventful schedule, there would be some free time for exploring with groups.
Worried about price? Mr. Rothrock has fundraisers planned in order to help studet pay for this trip. He stated, “Currently I have one more fundraiser planned for this year on top of the two we’ve already had, but will I be planning more!” And with the trip over a year away, there is plenty of time to earn enough money to make it happen. Students also have their own fundraising page through EF Tours where you can raise money by asking friends and family to help. Although spots filled up fast, Mr. Rothrock said, “There are currently still three spots remaining for this tour.”

Make 2024 the year you go somewhere you’ve never been. And what better way to do it than on a guided tour with friends? These memories will last a lifetime. Mr. Rothrock exclaimed, “Don’t be afraid of travel and experience new things! There is so much beyond our little community to see and experience. You’ll be talking about it for years to come.”
