The 2022 movie “Smile” is a psychological horror film. This movie is rated R and it is directed and written by Parker Finn. It was released on September 30, 2022, and it runs for an hour and 55 minutes. Sosie Bacon, Caitlin Stacey, Kyle Gallner, and more star in this film.

This movie follows Sosie Bacon, who plays a therapist named Rose Cotter. She goes through a traumatic incident with a patient. The patient smiles and triggers her to end her own life. After this occurrence she goes through overwhelming and disturbing experiences that take over her life and make her believe she is going insane. She sees people smile and she herself does unhuman like actions. She must confront her past to escape the reality she is going through. The end is an unexpected twist that allows the horrifying actions to continue to the next person who is possessed with this curse.

Overall, I rate this movie an 8/10, and I would recommend watching it. This movie includes jump scares and scary incidents, but it is super entertaining. I would recommend it to a 16+ audience.
