With it being March, the Clearfield Swim and Dive team have finished another remarkable regular season. The boys team went another year going undefeated to add to their over-a-decade old streak. The girls also added to a winning season and only fell short to their opponents two times throughout the entire season. Although both teams have finished the seasons with very successful records, now is where the real competition starts.

Both the boys and girls Swim and Dive teams will compete at the District 9 Swim and Dive Championship Meet. The meet will start on Thursday, March 2nd for the first session, and then will continue with the diving meet on the morning of Saturday, March 4th, followed by the second session of swimming on that same day. The team will compete with a variety of competitors within the PIAA District 9. Both the Clearfield boys and girls are known for their excellence when it comes to the swimming sport, and especially when it comes to the post-season championship meets.

The 1st place finisher in each event at districts will be advancing to the PIAA State Championship Meet to be held two weeks after the upcoming district meet. While the 1st place finishers of each event are guaranteed a spot at States, athletes can still make it if their time is within the next top so many times in the state. Clearfield is hoping to send multiple swimmers and divers to the state meet to make a name for our small town.
