With Easter being Sunday, April 9th, it is right around the corner! I am sure many are curious as to what to do that could be exciting for their kids, friends, family, and more. The following information presents simple, cute activities that one can do on their own time with their loved ones for some extra fun. I hope these crafts help you and your peers “hop” into Easter with creativity and positive attitudes!
1. Coloring Easter Eggs
This may sound like an obvious one, but what is Easter without coloring eggs?
🐇 In order to do this, you must have multiple hard-boiled eggs; newspapers or a surface to work on; spoons, tongs, or an egg dipper; liquid food coloring; 3 and 1/2 cups boiling water; a bowl deep enough to submerge your eggs; and 1 teaspoon white vinegar.
🐇 Another option is to buy an egg decorating kit from your local store. This will provide you with dye and decorating tools. One inexpensive kit is Paas Easter Egg Decorating and Dye Kit Deluxe.
🐇 After you have all the materials and dye prepared, you can begin dipping your eggs into whatever specific colors you choose for about 2-5 minutes. You could do many colors on one egg or be simple and just do one.
🐇 After you let the eggs dry, decorate them! You could use colorful hair and glasses to make them look like people, or put stickers on them.
🐇 When you finish, display the eggs in a place that is visible to all in your house. If they are hardboiled, remember to refrigerate them.

2. Easter Game Inspiration
There are many games that you can play with those around you that are Easter themed. Here are some examples:
🐇 Easter Bingo
 Have one person be the caller. The caller can pick different Easter themed pictures out of a hat or basket. If the picture matches one of the images on your bingo sheet, put down a marker. Once you have a row filled out, you win! You can then win a prize and be the caller for the next round.
🐇 Egg-and-Spoon Race
 Start by decorating your or your team’s Easter egg. When finished, get everyone together to begin racing. You will put your egg on a spoon and race back and forth, like a relay race. If you drop the egg, you and your teammates must restart. The winner receives a prize!
🐇 Egg Hunt
 Have someone hide plastic Easter eggs with small prizes in them around the house or outside. Have a group of people hunt for them. At the end, you can keep the prizes inside the eggs you find. The person who found the most eggs gets a larger reward.
🐇 Easter Matching
 Begin with gathering an even number of plastic eggs. Divide the plastic eggs into pairs. Then fill each pair with different small objects. For example, fill one with coins. Put all the eggs together. Let each child shake the eggs and attempt to place the two matching eggs together. Whoever has the most correct matches, wins!
🐇 Pin the Tail on the Easter Bunny
 Buy or make a large picture of an Easter bunny, and get a sticky bunny tail. On the picture, put a circle where the tail is supposed to be placed. Blindfold one of the players and spin them in a circle ten times. Once they are dizzy enough, have them try to stick the tail on the bunny. The next person can then go. Whoever gets closest to the circle on the image wins!

I hope this gives you some spirt in the season of April! Try these fun activities with your friends or family for additional excitement. Happy Easter!
