Senior Captain Alayna Winters had an amazing season for the Lady Bison Soccer Team, leading them to a 13-7-1 record and their second straight District 9 title. The Lady Bison also went on to beat Bedford on Penalty Kicks in the first round of the state playoffs, before falling to Avonworth the next round. Alayna is a starting forward for the Lady Bison and was a key factor to the team’s success this season, scoring a team high of 25 goals, averaging a little over one goal per game. Alayna is also a varsity starter for the Lady Bison Basketball team and has medaled in multiple events at districts for the Bison’s Track and Field team. I had the chance to talk to Alayna about her experience with The Lady Bison Soccer team for the past 4 years, and here’s what she had to say.
