When students at Clearfield High School were asked about their sports and what makes them worth joining, there were a variety of great reasons.
Katie Peacock plays Girls Soccer. She said that the team is close like a family and the sport is a great way to stay or to get into shape.
Cody Taylor plays Bocce. He said Bocce is one of the more inclusive sports in the school and it’s easy to learn and can get pretty competitive at times.
Carter Freeland plays Football. He said that football is very challenging but rewarding at the same time. He also says that it’s a great way to make friends and it’s just a fun thing to be a part of overall.
Ruby Singleton plays Softball. She says it is worth joining because it’s an exciting sport where your held accountable for your mistakes and rewarded for your successes. She says it’s a great way to spend your spring and summer break and it introduces you to a lot of new potential friends.
Cole Bloom plays Baseball. He says his favorite thing about it is the coaching; he says he has a coach that has over 50 years of experience. He also said that the practices are fun and it’s a great way to bond with your classmates.
Eli Fox participates in Cross Country. He says it’s a great way to get into shape and it can make you actually enjoy running. He says the coaches are the best part.
