With a new year comes new ratings. Today I’ll be rating some of my favorite shoes from my past and current closet.

Starting off strong with some of my favorite shoes, Sambas. They are flat so they don’t make you look any taller than you are. There is a lot of controversy around the comfort of these shoes. I would say these shoes definitely aren’t for walking for a long period of time. I love wearing these shoes in the summer because they’re very breathable. I rate these shoes an 8/10.

The next shoes I’m rating are Adidas Campus shoes. I love these shoes so much; they are like the Sambas, but they have a higher platform and thicker laces. These shoes are much more comfortable than Sambas. I would rate 9/10.

Next up are New Balance 550s. I love these shoes so much. They are super comfortable and so cute. I think everyone should consider getting a pair of these instead of the generic Nike AF1s. I would rate these shoes a 9/10.

Now on to Converse. I love Converse so much. I think everyone needs at least two pairs of Converse.

First off are my high top, brown, platform Converse. They’re super comfortable and make me about an inch or so taller. I’d rate these a 9.5/10, highly recommend.

Secondly, and lastly for the Converse, are my low top, platform, black Converse. I love wearing these in the summer because they’re a lot more breathable. Since they’re black, they go with just about anything. I’d say these are an essential. 9/10.

I love slippers and I feel like everyone needs slippers, especially in winter. I’m not the biggest fan of UGGs but I love getting slippers from Target and Old Navy and other random little places. My favorite slippers currently are from Old Navy. I rate them an 8/10.

Lastly, I have black Steve Madden black boots. These are some of my favorite shoes. They’re more of a summer shoe for me because I love to wear miniskirts with my boots. They definitely elevate my height by at least one or two inches. I think I’d rate these shoes an 8/10. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a statement piece.
