Located in a cozy and rustic place, Denny’s Beer Barrell Pub has a homey atmosphere for families and friends to gather. My family went to dinner, and our impressions on the restaurant were mixed, some loving it and some thinking it could’ve been better.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a respectful and efficient waitress who seated us. The menu offered a variety of options, ranging from classic pub fare to more adventurous choices. My sister, Adrianna, had no idea what she wanted and she said that everything looked “basic” and “stupid.”
I chose the Junior’s Char Grilled Quesadilla, which I found to be enjoyable, rating it an 8.5/10. My mom tried the Pretzelwich, which she thought was satisfactory with a rating of 7/10. However, Adrianna’s experience with the Pub Chimichanga was apparently subpar. She gave it a 5/10 due to an overwhelming amount of jalapeños that overshadowed the entire dish.
