For the past 25 years, CAJSHS has been hosting the “Band-O-Rama” in the auditorium. Band-O-Rama is an indoor marching band concert that wraps up marching band season after the last regular football game has concluded. This year it was held Monday November 6, 2017.

Senior Myra Kavelak explains, “Band-O-Rama is a family friendly concert for Bison Band fans to experience the football game performances outside of a football game.”

The Bison Band performed around 25 pieces from their regular marching season, and prepared them for the concert season. Mr. Mandell, band director, explained that Band-O-Rama gives the Bison Band members a chance to perform a concert consisting of all the matching band music that was performed at football games, parades, and concerts during the summer and fall.

Mr. Mandell added, “It is a great way to conclude a successful marching band season.” The Bison Band will begin their concert season in just a few weeks. They will perform for the upcoming play in the winter and the musical in the spring, as well as many other concerts this school year.
