Spend Your Morning With Santa

Chasity Weber, Staff Writer

The CHS Service Clubs: FCCLA, Helping Hands, and Key Club are putting together a Breakfast with Santa. It will be held Saturday, December 9, at the high school from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. It is $5 per person and all the proceeds benefit the Clearfield Youth Services Christmas Gift Program.

The money will go towards buying gifts for the children in the foster system who are not expecting much this upcoming Christmas.  Student Brittni Walker stated: “Being able to participate in a fundraiser like this as a member of FCCLA really makes me extremely happy. To know that we are making a difference and giving a child a happy Christmas makes every minute of hard work and preparation worthwhile.”

In addition to breakfast, there will be activities for the children and the opportunity for a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The breakfast will be served in the cafeteria while the activities and photos will take place in the library. The members of the clubs hosting the event will be mailing out photos to the families who wish to have them.
