Vezza Takes First in Rotary Speech Contest

The winners of Rotary 4-Way Speech Competition are Jeremiah Vezza, first place, center; Remington Shugarts, second place, at right; and Elliot Thorp, third place, at left.

Seventeen Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School students  from Mrs. Borden’s Public Speaking Class recently spoke at the local Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Competition held at Lock Haven University in Clearfield.

Three students were awarded cash prizes for their outstanding performance. Those students are Elliot Thorp, third place, Remington Shugarts, second place, and Jeremiah Vezza, first place.

Jeremiah will move on to compete in the Regional Competition. The competition will be held here at CAJSH on April 14.
