This year the 2019 senior class took its annual trip to Washington D.C. on May 10. The students did the usual sightseeing at places around the area such as the various Smithsonian museums and the Lincoln Memorial. In addition, the class officers placed a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the evening.

Jace Kephart, senior class President, describes the experience: “Standing in front of that tomb with my hand over my heart and a decorated soldier, dedicated to protecting this tomb, standing beside me was a moment that I will never, ever forget. It was a moment that will last forever.”
