On Sept. 5, 2019, Christina McGinnis won the 31^st annual High School golf invitational at the Coudersport golf course. This tournament was hosted by Coudersport High School.

Every year the Lady Bison golf team make their way to this tournament to experience a match against different girls from around the area. McGinnis said: “The invitational allows for us to play different teams.” Although she didn’t complete the match with a best score, she was only four away from her best with a total of 43 strokes. In previous years Christina faced good competition at this tournament, and she knew she wanted to win this year: “I placed second my sophomore year, and I knew I wanted to win this year.”  McGinnis is now working hard to make it to the regional level of competition at the end of the season.
