A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood stars Tom Hanks as television personality Fred Rogers in an all new movie celebrating the human spirit

Lloyd Vogel is an investigative journalist who receives an assignment to profile Fred Rogers, aka Mr. Rogers. He approaches the interview with skepticism, as he finds it hard to believe that anyone can have such a good nature. But Roger’s empathy, kindness and decency soon chips away at Vogel’s jaded outlook on life, forcing the reporter to reconcile with his own painful past.

This film proved time and time again that kindness is perhaps the greatest quality a person can have. Hanks serves as the perfect actor to portray Mr. Rogers, as each of them are well known philanthropists and are highly respected by people all over the world. The story was one of great inspiration, and will continue to inspire for years to come.

Senior Raegan Mikesell said she loved it and that the story made her cry because it was so powerful. She most enjoyed being able to see one of her favorite childhood idols come back to life in a new way.
