High School places 8th in nation for American Heart Association contest

The American Heart Association recently announced that Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School is the recipient of a National American Heart Challenge Award. The school received the award for achieving eighth place nationally for funds raised by a high school during the 2019-20 school year. CAJSHS raised $12,930, besting last year’s total of $9,101 by $3,829, according to Jeanine (Campagna) Romanowicz, AHA youth market director.
