How to make Starbucks cake pops

Cake pops are simple and very creative to make. Does not take much ingredients and can be made for anything event or holiday. You can use about any cake mix, any flavor or colored candy melts, and any other type of decorations you want to add to the cake pop.

Cake pops require the following ingredients:

  1. 1 package of any type of cake mix
  2. 1 cup of water
  3. 3 eggs
  4. cup of vegetable oil
  5. 16 oz. of any type of frosting
  6. Lollipop sticks
  7. 1 bag of candy melts


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish
  3. Mix the cake mix, water, eggs, and oil in a bowl
  4. Bake for about 25-30 minutes (tip for any baking: stick a toothpick in the center, comes out clean it is done)
  5. Cool for at least an hour
  6. Crumble cake into a large bowl
  7. Stick frosting into the cake, crumbled until mixture is sticky but smooth
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes
  9. Roll cake mixture into 1 inch balls and arrange on a baking sheet
  10. Stick the lollipop stick in the center of the balls
  11. Melt about cup of chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in microwave for about 20 seconds
  12. Dip each cake pop in the melted chocolate and decorate however you want
