I know many people have been wondering: “Is prom going to happen this year?” Well, I can assure you all that as long as everyone remain COVID-19 safe and wears their mask over their nose, we will be able to have a prom this year.

June 5, 2021 is the expected date for the big day. It will be held in the Bison Gym at Clearfield Area Junior/Senior High School. Juniors and seniors may purchase prom tickets. Their dates may range in age from 9th-12th grade or under 20-years-old if already out of school. Ticket prices will remain the same as every year, $25 for single tickets and $40 for a couple.

This year’s theme is Enchanted Evening. The gym will be decorated with lots of blue, pinks, golds, and blacks; as well as castles and fairy tale style decorations. Mrs. Huff, head of Prom Committee, does warn you must “wear your mask over your nose and socially distance.”

If you are interested in creating the ticket for this year’s prom, Mrs. Huff will be sending out more details about the annual ticket design contest on Teams hopefully, she said, the week of March 22 and the contest will end at the conclusion of Easter Break.
