The month of October is typically recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where many people like to show their respect for those who have beaten cancer and honor those who have passed because of it. Many celebrations include wearing pink clothing and accessories, as the color pink is the official color of the breast cancer ribbon.

This month, the Clearfield Lady Bison soccer team showed their spirit by decking out in pink shirts, pink socks, and pink face paint for their game on October 14, or “Pink Out Night”. They were also joined by girls from the U11 age group in order to inspire the young girls to continue to play soccer as they get older.
