On May 24, 2022, the junior class will be taking a trip to Gettysburg for their field trip. Originally, the trip to Gettysburg is for the sophomores, but the pandemic prevented last year’s group from going. Administration reached out to the class advisors to make sure that the 2023 graduating class would get the chance to go on this amazing trip.

To attend this field trip, students will need to pay $20 to the school. Additionally, the bus will be stopping in Mifflintown on the way home for food, so students will need to bring their own money for that as well and for any souvenirs at Gettysburg. This is not a costly trip and is something that everyone should experience at least once in their life.

Mrs. McGranor, class advisor, mentioned, “Students will gain a deep appreciation for all of the historic events that took place not that far from us.  This trip will offer a walking tour of Gettysburg, and a guided bus tour which will allow us to see nearly all Gettysburg has to offer in our short day there.”
