Congratulations, graduates!

Mitchell Rowles, Staff Writer

As another school year wraps up, we congratulate the Class of 2022 on their hard work over the years as soon-to-be Clearfield graduates. In order to help you congratulate and celebrate with them we thought we’d give you a guide to what graduation will entail this year.

According to Mr. Way, graduation will be held on Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m., hopefully outside on the football field. A rain date has been set for Friday, June 3. If weather complications occur, then it will be held inside with up to 5 tickets available for each student to hand out for guests to attend. During graduation, we will gather to commemorate the seniors and their hard work and then hand out diplomas at the end. The ceremony will most likely last around an hour and a half.

Graduation practice will be held over a three-day period starting on Tuesday, May 31, after the Memorial Day break through June 2. Students will don their caps and gowns on the morning of June 2 to participate in the traditional Senior Walk through the elementary school followed by one final walk through the high school.

Graduation is a very important milestone in everyone’s lives, and it is very important to attend the event as it may be the last time you see some of your classmates ever.
