The following seniors on the team for the 2022 football season were interviewed: Zachary Billotte, Evan Davis, Isaac Durandetta, Aiden Graffius, Joe Knee, Conner McCracken, Eric Myers, Isaac Samsel, and Jarrett Zattoni. Senior night was on October 21st, 2022, and it demonstrated to the crowd what the next step is for the senior boys. Each player has been an asset to the team, and here they respond to many questions referring to their futures, positions, and highlights.

Senior #1: Zachary Billotte

  1. How many years have you been playing football?

Billotte: I have been playing for three and a half years.

  1. What position(s) do you play?

Billotte: I play right guard.

  1. What are your plans in the future?

Billotte: I am going to college for criminal justice.

  1. What has been the highlight of your career?

Billotte: The highlight of my career is undecided, but it all has been a great experience.

  1. What is your favorite quote from the coach?

Billotte: My favorite quote is, “On the line.”

  1. Do you have any words of wisdom for the younger players on your team?

Billotte: Never quit and always work super hard. It will eventually pay off in the end.

 

Senior #2: Evan Davis

  1. How many years have you been playing football?

Davis: I have been playing for one year.

  1. What position(s) do you play?

Davis: I joined to kick for the team.

  1. What are your plans in the future?

Davis: My plans are to attend an unidentified college.

  1. What has been the highlight of your career?

Davis: The highlight of my season was kicking a 45-yard field goal during practice.

  1. What is your favorite quote from the coach?

Davis: My favorite quote is, “Come on Marve,” said by Coach Janocko.

  1. Do you have any words of wisdom for the younger players on your team?

Davis: Continue to work hard and eventually it will all pay off.

  1. Is there anything left that you have to say?

Davis: I am glad that I came out to kick this year. I have had a lot of fun and have gotten closer with many of the guys on the team.

 

Senior #3: Isaac Durandetta

  1. How many years have you been playing football?

Durandetta: I have been playing for six years.

  1. What position(s) do you play?

Durandetta: I play cornerback and wide receiver.

  1. What are your plans in the future?

Durandetta: I am planning on attending college for Sports Management and to play baseball.

  1. What has been the highlight of your career?

Durandetta: The highlight of my career is getting to know and make some great friends.

  1. What is your favorite quote from the coach?

Durandetta: My favorite quote is, “Run it again.”

  1. Do you have any words of wisdom for the younger players on your team?

Durandetta: Great things never come when you stay within your comfort zone.

 

Senior #4: Aiden Graffius

  1. How many years have you been playing football?

Graffius: I have been playing for five years.

  1. What position(s) do you play?

Graffius: I play safety and wide receiver.

  1. What are your plans in the future?

Graffius: In the future, I intend on taking a gap year before joining the military.

  1. What has been the highlight of your career?

Graffius: The highlight of my career was getting my first interception Sophomore year.

  1. What is your favorite quote from the coach?

Graffius: My favorite quote from Coach Janocko is, “Go to church.”

  1. Do you have any words of wisdom for the younger players on your team?

Graffius: If you put in the work, the results will come. It is all a process.

  1. Is there anything left that you have to say?

Graffius: Though I am new to the team this season, it was the best season I have had so far. I could not be more thankful for the coaches I got to play for and for the players that I got to play with to finish off my high school football career.

 

Senior #5: Joe Knee

  1. What position(s) do you play and how many years have you been in the game?

Knee: I play tight end and D-end. I have been playing football nine years.

 

Senior #6: Conner McCracken

  1. How many years have you been playing football?

McCracken: I have been playing for six years.

  1. What position(s) do you play?

McCracken: I play defensive and offensive tackle.

  1. What are your plans in the future?

McCracken: I am undecided as to what my plans are for the future.

  1. What has been the highlight of your career?

McCracken: The highlight of my career is going 11-1 Junior year starting on both sides of the ball.

  1. What is your favorite quote from the coach?

McCracken: My favorite quote is from Coach Janocko and it is, “Get up you big baby.”

  1. Do you have any words of wisdom for the younger players on your team?

McCracken: Always keep grinding and buy into the coaching staff. Do your best and go hard all the time.

 

Senior #7: Eric Myers

  1. How many years have you been playing football?

Myers: I have been playing for ten years.

  1. What position(s) do you play?

Myers: I play defensive tackle and center.

  1. What are your plans in the future?

Myers: I plan on attending Lycoming College to major in Mathematics Education. I also want to play football.

  1. What has been the highlight of your career?

Myers: My highlights are winning Districts the past two years and being a first time All-Star.

  1. What is your favorite quote from the coach?

Myers: My favorite quote is from Coach Caragein, and it is, “Tickle the grass and penetrate.”

  1. Do you have any words of wisdom for the younger players on your team?

Myers: I would argue to keep fighting. The program has a tradition of winning, and it provides many useful traits to make you a better man.

  1. Is there anything left that you have to say?

Myers: I have been very honored to play in this program for the past three years. My fellow players and the entire coaching staff have formed me into the man I am today. Football teaches you many great lessons in life making you a better person.

 

Senior #8: Isaac Samsel

  1. How many years have you been playing football?

Samsel: I have been playing for nine years.

  1. What position(s) do you play?

Samsel: I play on both the defensive and offensive line.

  1. What are your plans in the future?

Samsel: My plans are to attend an undecided college.

  1. What has been the highlight of your career?

Samsel: My highlight has been winning districts the last two years.

  1. What is your favorite quote from the coach?

Samsel: My favorite quote is from Coach Janocko and it is, “Move it Marve.”

  1. Do you have any words of wisdom for the younger players on your team?

Samsel: I would say to keep working hard and stick with one another.

  1. Is there anything left that you have to say?

Samsel: I am very glad to have spent the last three years on this Varsity team. The entire coaching staff and all the players have made a great impact on my life. I encourage all interested kids to be involved with Bison football as much as possible.

 

Senior #9: Jarrett Zattoni

  1. How many years have you been playing football?

Zattoni: I have been playing for six years.

  1. What position(s) do you play?

Zattoni: I play defensive tackle.

  1. What are your plans in the future?

Zattoni: I am planning on working as a diesel mechanic.

  1. What has been the highlight of your career?

Zattoni: The highlight of my career was getting a tackle towards my mom which was announced on the radio.

  1. What is your favorite quote from the coach?

Zattoni: My favorite quote from Coach Glunt is, “Bite that mouthpiece hard and shock them.”

  1. Do you have any words of wisdom for the younger players on your team?

Zattoni: I would say to always stick together. If something goes wrong with your team, do not count them out.
